The period for submitting Government Services applications has closed and review is now underway. BSRAD received 11 requests from 7 different government entities for a FY25 total of $5,664,283. Seven of the requests were for operations, which span a three-year government funding cycle comprising FY25 (7/1/24 – 6/30/25), FY26 (7/1/25 – 6/30/26) and FY27 (7/1/26 – 6/30/27). The remaining four requests were for capital projects.

The BSRAD Board will review the applications in the April 17 Board Meeting and will make funding decisions at the May 8 BSRAD and Joint County Commission Meeting.

As always, public comment is encouraged. You can email publiccomment@resorttax.org and include your first and last name. Emails received prior to April 9 will be included in the April Board Meeting packet; those received after April 9 but before April 30 will be included in the May packet. You may make comment at the meetings either in person or virtually during calls for public comment.

Resort Tax provides relief to property owners by helping fund essential community services that would otherwise appear on property tax bills.
