Ordinance 98-01 is in effect as of December 13, 2025
The revised Ordinance 98-01 — which defines BSRAD’s authority and outlines business registration and Resort Tax collection requirements — goes into effect on December 13, 2025. The updates make registration and tax collection clearer for event vendors, organizers, and all businesses operating in Big Sky.
As a reminder, Annual Business Registration is now open. All businesses operating within the District — even those that do not collect Resort Tax — must register each year. Registration is free and helps keep business information accurate so BSRAD can better understand community activity and make informed decisions.
