Projects: BSCHT Operations; MeadowView Affordable Housing; Down Payment Assistance; Long-Term Rental Program; New Development Projects
During FY20, HRDC/BSCHT successfully completed construction and sales of all Meadowview Phase 1 units and moved 18 households into affordable home ownership. Construction of 34 additional Phase 2 units is progressing well. All Down Payment Assistance Funds were consumed by Phase 1 purchasers. The Long Term Rental Website launched on May 5th, 2020. Through support of a private donor, three new homes were rented at affordable rates to local families. Some development funds were reallocated to complete MeadowView construction, with the remaining funds slated for a land purchase to enable construction of an LIHTC apartment complex.
