In FY20 Resort Tax awarded funding to the Arts council for their 2019 Mountainfilm Festival, 2019 Fireworks, and Music in the Mountains projects. The 2019 Mountainfilm Festival was held in September of 2019 and was sold out on Saturday night, and hosted more than 150 people to a feature film on Friday night and an outdoor film on Sunday. The 2019 Fireworks were part of the summer July 4 celebration in 2019, and more than 5,000 people attended the event in the Town Center Park.
