Each year, the BSRAD Board allocates grant funding across eight impact areas to help ensure resort tax investments align with Big Sky’s community priorities. In the August Board meeting, the Board has established the amount available in each area, setting the framework for the upcoming grant review and award process.
Community grants are one part of BSRAD’s annual budget, which establishes the framework for the District’s investments and commitments. The budget balances community needs with long-term financial planning, including reserves, infrastructure, essential government services, strategic initiatives, and District operations.
